tips for building a dog house out of wood planks?
re-doing my backyard fence and want to build a dog house out of the old planks.
i've never built a dog house before and am looking for help!
First determine how big you want to make the dog house. This will be a function of how big your dog is. A dog should be able to stand up and turn around inside the dog house.
Once you decide size, you're ready to start the design process. A dog house is basically a box with a roof on it. I've built 'em fancy, and I've built 'em plain. Sketch it out on paper. Get an idea of how long your boards need to be. Decide what shape you want the roof to take.
