Do Amusement Park Tickets Expire?
I bought legoland california tickets from my old company in 2004. I heard that they do not expire in California but the Legoland ticket office wouldn't take them. Does anyone know if amusement park tickets expire? there's an expiration date printed on the ticket but is it still valid in California?
I went to the Legoland California website to see what I
could find out for you. (www.legoland.com/californiatickets)
Every thing that I read on the web page about tickets or
memberships state that the tickets are only good for one
year from purchase.
You say you bought the tickets in 2004 and that there is
an expiration date printed right on the ticket. Your tickets
have expired and are no longer valid. My question to you
is were they one time tickets or a yearly pass? If they were
one time tickets I assume that you did not use them. If it
was a yearly pass did you use it at all? If you did not use
your tickets at all the park may let you upgrade the tickets.
(This means they might consider letting you pay the difference
between what the tickets cost in 2004 to the current going
price of the ticket).

Theme parks add new thrills for expected wave of tourists
Buoyed by an improving economy, some major theme parks have made multimillion-dollar investments in new attractions opening this summer to help attendance numbers rebound from last year's slump.
