What Can I play PS3 games online with a friend abroad to complete all levels?

I suppose you can said he wants a "co-op game on the line. I want to play with my friends abroad (which is a man, I'm a girl). And we would like a complete game in which the current levels in all, not just a party line that the game is not real. LittleBigPlanet is the best example I can think (we LBP). I had a lot of games recommended but I'm not sure what actually complete whole. I COD, and he is gifted I am not, then maybe an FPS is not the best idea. Think LittleBigPlanet!
