How do I make a Lego movie?
I know I need to use stop-motion, but I need to know how. I need to know what kind of supplies needed and what I need to edit the film (I do not download anything). Thank you
You Lego, whatever you want money, good lighting and a camera that can do stop-motion. This can be as simple as a digital camera or stop an optional video camera movement. Pose your Lego. Enjoy a frame. Sleep. Enjoy a frame. Make it a thousand times and you have thousands and thousands of images. If you have a camcorder that stop as a movement, just play and everything works. If not (or need to change), you must first download the video or photos on your computer. Better if you have a digital camera (analog video cameras will be more difficult to handling). Windows Movie Maker is free from Microsoft. It's pretty cool and allow you to edit and assemble. Note that this is very tedious. It takes years for a professional (like Tim Burton) to make a stop-motion animation. We are talking about a team of experts, working 12-15 hours a day for 2 years or more. That yes, a 90-minute film. If you want to make a video 1 minute, you can likely do so in a few weeks after he gets the hang of it.
